Me and Kai's Camera shots/Angles quiz submission.
The instructions of the activity were to choose either one or multiple inanimate objects and to develop a story with those inanimate objects using various types of shots and angles including the following .
An establishing shot, A Long shot, Two medium shots, Two close-ups, An Extreme close-up, A Point of view shot, Any type of shot using a high angle, Any type of shot using a low angle, Any type of shot with your subject on either the left or right third. Then, we had to create a table to put the order of shots in. Then we take 15 photos using the shots listed above and we must tell a a story through those photos and we must say why we chose that shot for the photos we took.
Me and Kai created a story about a pencil and an eraser(our main characters of the story) that are out walking and simply enjoying themselves and suddenly the eraser falls off a cliff, then the pencil goes down to check on the eraser after the fall to make sure they are okay, the eraser was luckily not seriously injured so they both gaze into the sunset and walk towards it. We took some photos that were good and some that were bad or not in the correct format so we had to redo those. We uploaded the photos onto a power point and while Kai edited all the photos a little bit to make them look slightly better I added all of the descriptions of the photos.
I believe we did well on the project with things like organization and teamwork and planning though I will admit there are things I wish I did better. I wish I could have taken better photos with the special shots and been more creative with the story itself and just added something to spice it up even if by a little bit.
